30-SEP-08 - Roster Shakeup In LLL

After an amazing offensive performance by Brett Favre was wasted by a historical
ly lame defensive showing, sources within the organization indicate that changes
 are coming. 

In an effort to improve it, a number of offensive players are being shopped. The
 highest-profile players that might be moved include Carson Palmer and T.J. Hous
hmanzadeh.  Palmer is reportedly unhappy after being displaced by Favre.

The playoff picture has become quite clear :

DS - Can win division with win this week - owns tie breaker over BB
WLR - Can claim last spot with win and losses by DH and BB

06-NOV-07 - Playoffs???

With three games left, we've got a rather interesting playoff race going - only 
one team has been eliminated (SWB) and only one team is a lock (SRS).

Apart from those two teams, the scenarios are far too messy for me to willingly 
figure out right now, so instead, I'll take a look at the slate of games for nex
t week:

MHD @ SRS - MHD faces elimination from the playoffs while SRS plays for nothing,
 all ready owning the tie-breakers for the division and conference.

WLR @ SC - WLR's back is against the wall after James Harrison's record-setting 
performance tagged them with an unexpected loss. An SC win looks like it'll put 
them into the playoffs while a WLR loss may well spell doom.

06-NOV-07 - Playoffs???, cont'd

LLL @ DH - Neither team can really afford a loss the rest of the season, though 
said loss wouldn't end either team's run at the playoffs just yet.

BB @ DS - DS probably needs to win out to get into the playoffs - were that to h
appen, they'd win the division. A BB win goes a long way in earning a playoff sp
ot with the winner of the DH/LLL game.

RNR @ AW - RNR's hopes are faint given that five teams are currently ahead. If A
W wins out, they may well steal the division from AR. With TB sputtering having 
suffered through many injuries, this week may well push AW ahead of TB.

06-NOV-07 - Playoffs???, cont'd

PC @ AR - PC faces elimination while AR needs to win this to stay ahead of AW in
 the division race.

SWB @ TB - TB can ill-afford to lose this game.

TH @ TSI - The division's on the line. A TH win gives them a sweep of TSI this s
eason, ties the two team's records, and makes the last two games really interest
ing. A TSI win all but locks up the division.

04-OCT-05 - "Air" McNair seeks new home

Wheaton, MD--Tired of riding the bench behind the league-leading Carson Palmer, 
sources close to McNair indicate that he's expressed a desire to be traded.

When asked about the report, Laser-Lances head coach/GM Scott Lawrence had this 
to say: "Right now I'm less concerned about McNair's desire to be traded than th
e performance of our defense."

Anonymous sources within the front office hinted that any trade offer for McNair
 that legitmately addressed Coach Lawrence's defensive concerns would likely be 
accepted.

Wow what a close game. RnR has a huge advantage at QB with Kurt Warner but DH co
untered that with the great running of Marshall Faulk (Ties the record for the m
ost amount of points ina playoff game)  Both OL's did not play great (Dh +5 over
 RnR) however rest of thier offense was pretty equal except for Duce Staley have
 an off day for RnR.  RnR made it up for though on defenese with great play from
 thier DB's (5 scoring in the double digits) but that was counnter by the great 
play of DH's DL and LB's....

The Demonic Hordes just notched the largest victory ever recorded in NETFL Histo
ry (Regular or Playoff). The Previous record was 92 points. They also the highes
t points ever scored in a netfl game (previous record 98). The game also breaks 
the highest scoring playoff game (98 points between two teams). They also broke 
the record for the most amount of offensive points in a playoff game. They came 
within 2 points of breaking the defensive playoff record. They blew away by over
 50 points the highest total raw points for a playoff game. They broke all these
 records without one player breaking any records. There team just peaked perfect
ly.

RnR also makes it back to the Superbowl behind a great performance of thier thre
e wide recivers (Harrison, Owens, Toomer).  

This year's Superbowl will be a rematch of 1999 Superbow game in which RnR won. 
 The winner of the game will just be the second team to have notched 2 superbowl
 wins (Thundering Herd has three)

AWR missed setting the alltime offensive scoring record by 1 points.  If someone
 had submitted a roster for them they would have blown by it.  Albert Connell ho
wever breaks WR record with 50 points and Ricky Williams barely misses the RB re
cord.  Between the above two players and Corey Dillion the three combined for 13
3 points

DH beats OS for likely conference champions and RnR beats RR to keep thier confe
rence hopes alive.

DH Blows away old scoring record. The old scoring record of 390 points went by t
he way side with the Hordes 430 total points this week.  They came close to brea
king the Offensive Score by a couple of pooints and was not that far away from t
he defensive record either.

OS and SRS both outcoach DS and LLL to go 4-0 and 3-1 respectively.  OS remains 
undefeated while only have the 8th ranked team.
In the game of the winless(BB-MHD) BB wins thier first game despite Shaun King s
coring -5 points.
RNR beats TB 51-50 Behind the play of the best OL in the league.  Meanwhile TB k
ept it close with thier injured OL. RNR goes 4-0 While the Blitz after starting 
2-0 goes to 2-2 and drops to third place. TB and RNR played very tough and ended
