| Game Summary (Ralph Jones, NetFL Press) "You want fries with that?" Yep, we'll be hearing that from Brodney Pool in the near-future after this week's performance. After a time, I began to play a game, counting the seconds between mistakes, waiting with giddy excitement while seeing that head coach of theirs as enraged as an elementary school janitor fresh out of Vomit-be-Gone.
And so now it stands that RNR is all knotted up in the all-time series 8-8 against TH. RNR has a 6-6 regular season record. TH has a 2-10 regular season record. The latest (what I shall laughingly call a) contest saw RNR prostrated TH like a mink that suddenly finds that a family of mice has taken up residence in her den 61-47 in front of a despondent home crowd.
They were almost perfect on the RNR squad particularly on the offensive side of the ball last week as they racked up a combined 332 points, 219 on offense and 113 on defense. Larry Johnson with 35 points on offense and Patrick Kerney with 18 points on defense were the top scorers. Mistakes dampened the mood around the locker room somewhat. Said Coach/GM Randy, "We have to get a lot better next week.. For one, Charles Tillman was as sharp as a sponge today. I've been working with Doc on a revolutionary new procedure... I won't go into the full details right now, but let's just say that he won't have an any excuse for dropping the damned ball anymore. As for those DST? They showed all the football grace of ballerinas as they filled the record book with absolutely nothing while taking the day off. Overall though, the as voted on by his teammates, the most worthless player in this game was Charles Tillman. His pitiful effort yielded a resigned sigh from his teammates.
Though the game was already decided on the field, apparently neither team was done. Randy whined, "Who? Do they even play professional football?" In response, the TH coach groaned, "Sheesh... just mentioning their scaly hides makes me feel very unclean. They're wretched, infantile little sewer rats and I don't want to get dragged into a discussion about them. Any other questions? I need to bathe." |
