Game Summary (Ralph Jones, NetFL Press)
I love football. The stale smell of rancid beer, the sweaty crowd of rabid fans, the cross-eyed and homely cheerleaders trying to incite us to collective ear-drum rupturing noise, the reverberating sound of vicious collisions, the poetic beauty of a laser-guided bullet pass crashing into the receiver's outstretched hands - yes, this is what I live for. This is what I saw today. Kudos to DH for pulling out a sharpened stick, bludgeoning them and definitively putting on the superior show, but overall, it was quite a frenetic, enjoyable game.

And so now it stands that DH leads the all-time series 23-3 against DS. DH has a 1-0 regular season record. DS has a 0-1 regular season record. The latest (what I shall laughingly call a) contest saw DH has publically emasculated DS as though the unfortunate loser were a snail dropped in a jar of saline solution 45-12 in front of a despondent home crowd.

They were almost perfect on the DH squad particularly on the offensive side of the ball last week as they racked up a combined 310 points, 198 on offense and 112 on defense. Donovan McNabb with 46 points on offense and Karlos Dansby with 11 points on defense were the top scorers. Mistakes dampened the mood around the locker room somewhat. Said Coach/GM Raman Ohri, "I took exception to our execution on a few plays.. For one, Anthony Herrera kinda languished a bit out there. His bones are made of flubber, so I don't think that's the problem. At least I wouldn't call that a break per se. Still, he's too much of a little baby to play with that little bruise. Broken vertabrae? I doubt that very much. It's clear who is here just to collect a check and frankly, I won't forget it. As for those OST? They were utterly incompetent, gaining 3 Punt return, 21 Punt return yardage, 7 Punt return average, 2 Kickoff returns, 25 Kickoff return yardage, 12.5 Kickoff return average throughout the course of their pitiful performance. Overall though, the Don't Euthanize After Disaster award - given to one blundering fool each week - was really difficult to decide on this go around. I promise the poor slob that I won't be taking away his livelihood. This week, the DEAD man in this game was Tony Pashos. His wretched effort yielded an expletive-laden outburst from me, I must admit.

Though the game was already decided on the field, apparently neither team was done. Raman Ohri droned, "Gosh... why are you even wasting my time looking for a comment about them? They're kinda like cockroaches - to be sure, they occasionally crawl out of the woodwork to be seen by all, but usually, they're lurking somewhere out of sight." In response, the DS coach said, "He and his lecherous team of cub scouts have all the football grace of a French eunuch trying to ride a bull suffering from mad cow's disease while reciting the Gettysburg Address."
